Scorched Earth Policy: 5-0

Don't shoot, let him burn

Just throwing this up as a placeholder of greatness, plus this picture makes me smile wide as I can. We will have much more tonight, but go ahead and comment away about the Monday Night Massacre. I seriously wish I could think of a player on our team who played poorly, or even remotely decent or close to not good. It’s not possible, that’s the most comprehensive beating I have ever seen. Much more later friends. But for now, let’s all enjoy as Messi salts the earth in Madrid.

I keep giggling. Some of the passing and backheels in the final minutes really rubbed their noses in it.Lesson to Ronaldo Thats how you taunt and embarass a team.

“That’s the most comprehensive beating I have ever seen.” Totally agree. It’s the kind of beating to make you retire from the sport. GREAT pic btw – I love this blog.

As a newbie to the world of football in general, I think I’ve finally found the answer to the question ‘Why do people get so excited about two groups of men chasing a ball around a field?’

When football is played the way it’s played in this match, it’s a beautiful thing to watch. 🙂

visca el barça!!! Oh god, what an experience this was, I’m still shaking. Feel like I have been beaten down or something… Have to see the game I was ABSOLUTELY true about the 4 attackers (pipa/benzema , dimaria , thongboy , ozil) were too much to play vs us. Mourinho even put lassana diarra in the second half. What was ozil doing in the pitch? defend??? awful awful mourinho

sal del banquillo! mourinho, sal del banquillo! sal del banquilloooo

Darn I wish I could have watched the match live! For once I have the time and feel in excellent health to chat it up online and no one’s around. I’ve been looking at other sites and boy the EE fan boys and fan girls are coming out of the woodwork defending Ramos of all folks, being petulant and childish. I don’t know why I read those posts. Sigh, I just want to talk about the brilliant f’n game our boys played. I seriously get chills and tears. A dismantling of Madrid, COMPLETE!! ¡Visca Barça! ¡Visca Barça! ¡Visca Barça!

    Lovely read. /http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=847433&sec=europe&root=europe&cc=5901

    Favorite passage:

“A divide is also evident in the way the two teams have been constructed. Notable exceptions such as David Villa aside, Barca have turned inwards to the academy graduates supplied by La Masia, while Real have instead relied on the chequebook of Florentino Perez. The fact that the final coup de grace was a cross from Bojan, converted by Jeffren – two more acolytes of a finely-honed youth system and philosophy – will only have further underlined that at this juncture in the story of one of football’s great rivalries, Barca are on the right side of history. The school defeated the bank.”

I Haven’t read any of the post yet. I save them for work but two things.

    1. Pique played pretty poorly to be honest. A few of his passes were nearly stolen and off to the races.

    2. Is there any quicker way to download videos off of Rojadirecta? Most of them link 8-10 Rapidshare files and I have to load one, download it, takes 10 minutes or so. Then download the next. Then I can finally unzip after downloading them all.

    Any better way?

With Mediafire files, you can download a bunch of parts all at once (using Mozilla). I used it to download the 4-1 Arsenal match.

Does anyone know if someone uploaded a Mediafire version of the match?

      Okay, I found some.

      Sky Sports Broadcast 720p HD

and for the same file, there are only two hotfile links and fileserve links. More convenient than downloading 10 of ’em.

      First Half: *http://hotfile.com/dl/85872829/2b16f28/fcb_1st_rma-regmo.blogspot.com.mkv.html

You can download all of the links at once, you don’t have to wait till one finishes. Use Jdownloader…. copy the links and it automatically shows up in the program and you download them at the same time. Or you can download torrents. Shouldn’t take that long with seeders.

Or, you can pay a monthly fee to Hotfile or something like that, like I do, and download games within 5 minutes. It’s totally worth it (plus all the movies I download with it as well.)

Regarding Pique, couple of bad passes, but I thought he did his job well tonight.

      November 30, 2010

Yeah, I signed up for a Fileshare account and it is definitely worth it. Much faster and you can download several files at once. It took me less than half an our to download the whole match last night.
