Culé since way before football boots were of the neon yellow and lizard green variety, Levon is a deep thinker with increasingly shallow thoughts. He lives in Barcelona with his gorgeous wife and daughter. The lucky bastard...

  1. Many, many thanks to my man Gogah for inviting me to the game. Anybody got any questions, you can ask them in the comment section. I’ll check in from time to time.

  2. Thanks for the live report Lev. I could smell the treble also from my place now in Jakarta, cheers 🙂 (with respect to our remaining opposition in those 3 competitions)

  3. Am in office and cant put the volume up:). Is that you Lev. Nice to see you.
Wishing it would have been great, if you had recorded some ambience around too (sorry)

Went through a Bayern blog. Cant believe it, they are killing Pep actually.
I dont understand why people dont see that Pep got it all right until the 77th minute. For BM a good result was a draw and they were very close to it, albeit without their best team. And it was only a genius which turned the match.
Feel sorry for Pep, Barca look at him as an enemy and Bayern fans look at him as who’s heart is still with Barca..

    1. It’s just a matter of us beating them, after that Pep is no more the enemy ! He’ll be back to being one of our greatest ever managers 🙂

  4. Lucky you Levon…Being at a far off place, it feels good to see that video and feel that vibe. I know my man video will never match the actual vibe one gets when around the Camp Nou on the big match day but being far off I will take Video for now 🙂

    Thanks for posting it.

  5. No i disagree that Pep got it right and Leo save the day and all that.I watched the game for second time and we were by far the better team in all game.Neuer was crucial. If we opened the score in 40 or 50 minute i believe we would humiliate them. The fact that we opened the score in 77m and scored 3 goals and we had also a clear chance with Suarez show that we controlled the game every minute.I am soru but that was one of the best perfomance in Europe from our team in our history and i dont understand why we,Barca fans, try to underestimate.

  6. Oh and i know that if we played against Chelsea and Mou,and they played like Bayern i am sure now we would listen to different things. But ok.Lets go for Sociedad now:-)

  7. And my last question:With Pep we played 4 semifinals in home in CL.If we had a better perfomance in any of them, better that Wednesday i doubt it.

    1. Against M*drid in the Bernabeu. It was not a home game, but it was one of the best and most underrated games we ever played. Up against the most expensive team ever who had just beaten us in the CdR final.

  8. I was in camp nou for the return leg two years ago, and the bayern fans were louder than the cules then, too. Disappointing but somewhat understandable.

  9. Levon first i agree that they had a big chance but they had only 1 in all game.So no they did not deserved to score. And yes i agree about that semifinal it was a game we controlled with huge possesion. My point is that Pep is a v good coach. But the way his teams play have a huge impact in the last part of season.Tired players, injuries. After 6 years i can say that his teams can produce amazing games in October or January, but after April there are big problems. He must have a 30 players squad for his ideas.

  10. And we can see players like Iniesta Pique Messi. They are looking like older than they are.High pressing and possesion game is fun but players are not machines.Lucho is doing simple things.Yes we will press like mad men but in some parts of the game.In other parts we will sit back to have some rest. And we saw the same with Dortmund. After 3 seasons their players are dead.

    1. But, to be fair, Iniesta at least has looked about 40 for the last ten years 😀
