But this is the good form of higher blood pressure:
I hope I make it through Sunday without having some sort of passion-induced seizure…
Update: I’ve extended the deadline for the Logo and Banner Design Competition to Thursday, December 3 because it’s Thanksgiving Week and I’m not going to be doing much real work for the coming couple of days. Other than this awesome nonsense about El Clasico, of course.

Why isn’t everyone raving about the big news of the day, The Yaya’s return to practice with the group.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YYYYYYYYYYYeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! Give me some Destroyer!!!
¡Nos Dejaremos La Piel! They’re going down like CR does when he runs into a fly!!
Probably best news of the week is having Abidal and Toure back to help lock down their 2 150 million purchases 🙂
HAHA, Abidal makes fun of the way Pep slapped his head when he subbed him out against Inter… and Pep was late to training so they all applauded when he arrived:

And they also applauded Abidal for his renewal.
What I love most about that video is the very genuine affection that the club shows. Guardiola is the coach, but he clearly isn’t a hyper-rigid authoritarian type, preferring to earn respect through results. His hug for Abidal was so warm.
I’m still wondering how Pep got late for work. The whole traffic system in Catalonia should have been reversed for that to happen. Betcha he still does not know that Michael Jackson died. Love his Michael Jackson boogie video.
Yaya back with the group? Fantastic news! I guess word travels faster being in Barcelona (lucky bastard).
Btw, do u know how in the hell Abidal played on Tues? It was supposed to be a 3 week layoff and that was BEFORE he got swine flu. Then out of nowhere he starts and plays a phenominal game, didnt look like a player coming off of injury/illness. Either we have some very good physios working wonders in the background or swine flu heals muscular injuries…
Speaking of which, any news on how likely it is Ibra and Messi will start on Sunday. They must be raring to go after missing out on Tuesday. I am sure being on the bench and watching the team play so well without them has a motivating effect. I know if I was them I would be thinking “Damn, they dont need us after all” and thats only gona make them work harder and play better.
You are only lucky S-O-B Kevin cos if the team plays on Sunday the way they played on Tues, with Ibra and Messi in there to boot, Madrid are gona get one hell of a beating.
My guess is that as with Messi’s injury, it wasn’t as severe as expected. I was more worried about the thigh than la gripe, since as I said, even civilians are better in a couple of days with aggressive treatment.
My guess is that The Yaya was fine, but that spreading it was a bigger worry. Remember, Betis had 13 players with it.
That said, I have NO idea how his thigh was so fine, so fast.
Guardiola said today that he “expects” Messi to play. And Ibra is farther along than Messi. Both continued their private rehab today, and are improving. Recall that both were on the bench v Inter, which means that they could have played if needed.
I expect both to play. They might not start, but I expect them to play. Guardiola wants this one bad. The city is consumed. It’s intense.
I’m excited because now that International duties are over, our lads stay in the hands of our medicos, and on our program. They are shaking off the stress and fatigue, and starting to come together.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see mostly the same starting XI as we saw v Inter, but swap The Yaya for Busquets.
Cruyff: “El Barcelona juega mil veces mejor que el Madrid”
You can check it out over at Marca if you want..
The Blancos will shit in their pants on this news – let us see how many of them snow up for the game.
This was in the previous post sow I’ll put it here again:
You guys have to see this, this is fucking Hilarious!!
It’s someone imitating Wenger, Henry, Mourinho and Rafa Benitez to perfection!!

Aaaaargh!! Tomorrow I am moving flats and internet won’t be ready for two weeks…Aaaaargh! Sky Sports (so far) is only showing the second half!! Aaaaargh!! I don’t know whether Setanta Sports will show it, and if so….more Aaaaargh! as I have no idea of a pub where they show this!
I will have to try my luck and get me some space at the Sports Cafe…or buying some last minute flights to Barcelona…
Anyway, I am getting nervous by the minute thanks to all these posts! 🙂
Sky sports will show both halves, dont worry. The first half is accessible via the red button on the same channel that is showing the 2nd half. They do that a lot with Spanish football when it clashes with local programming.
lol, the text says something like “purchase your ticket here”, right? I wish there were still tickets to purchase 🙂
Yeah, it does. But I didn’t make the animation, so I couldn’t cut that part out, despite wanting to.
Hahaha, they actually managed to make Banjo look a bit tough there!
