Calvin, I’ve got three other places saying the game starts at 3PM EST. FCB’s facebook says the game is 20.00 CET, but Europe isn’t on Daylight Saving Time yet, so it’s only 5 hours ahead of EST. Do you have different info?

Pep, i think you are the best coach ever, but please DON’T PLAY INIESTA ON THE WING. thank you

It’s definitely a sub-optimal way of using Iniesta, but it seems the only way he can include Cesc unless we try 3-5-2 again.

Oh my gosh! Totally off-topic but a Bolton player just collapsed and not looking good. His name is Fabrice Muamba. Please pray for him 🙁

I hate it when we rest Puyol, especially when Abidal is off getting a liver transplant and Pique is still oozing stupid. Hopefully his recent punishments have straitened up his head a bit.

Have I mentioned I love Masch?

Didn’t seem to. Not terribly stupid, but pretty sluggish.

man, does anyone besides Messi in our team know how to score in clear one on one chances? Anyone, Pedro, Cesc, Alexis, Iniestaaaaaaaaaaa?

from the 40th minute on this game did go well for us and while we still had plenty of chances we could not kill it!

Bayern scored 6 today, hope they save some for EE 🙂

Adriano was great today. Mascherano amazing. Messi slept all through the 2nd half.

Pep needs to chill, he seems to get angry a lot lately. What did he want from adriano after subbing the poor guy.

Not a great game – we were pretty good the first 30 minutes but after that…

Another game, another shit full of chances missed. Can’t believe how many of them we are missing game by game. Probably there something for Pep to think about it and train a little bit how to score a goal on one on one with the GK.

Maybe he got angry at him because it looked to me like he got injured. Might be wrong though.
Anyway, the commentator here said that Pep wants 1 euro more than Special Five is earning in RM, and 4 mill euros for Tito. Any truth in that? Some source?

1 euro more? Sounds very unlike Pep…

Exactly! It doesn’t sound like Pep. Only the big head and mouth Ibra can ask for something like that. But I do believe Pep is willing to fight for better salary for Tito. But 4M Euro as an assistant coach? Nah, even for big club like Barca, it’s too much. I don’t think Pep is that out of his mind.

That’s bull. If Pep orientation is money, he would easily go to Qatar NT, Chelsea or City. He will certainly get paid 5 mill euro more than Mou, at the bare minimum.

Sorry to be wildly off topic, but I just saw the video of Fabrice Muamba. Even knowing he’s stable now, I’m pretty shaken up. Everyone on the field looked absolutely sick and that’s how I feel too.

All my thoughts are with him and his family!! My dad had a heart attack, so I know their stress. Hopefully they know all soccer fans are rooting for Muamba and his family. (To be clear, my dad is fine now.)

    • March 17, 2012

Glad to hear your dad’s okay. Never pleasant to see or hear about that sort of thing but it is what it is. Hope for a swift recovery for him and Abi. Thoughts always go to the families who have to suffer a lot. Hope they keep their spirits up during a difficult time; certainly not easy, but they are strong people I’m sure.

Guess what guys? 3-5-2 will be making a comeback against Milan.

So Messi got a yellow card towards the end? For what reason? Talking to the Ref or handball?

He played on after the whistle was gone for offside. It was a van Persie card

how many chances is iniesta missing. i saw the athletic barca 2-2 match again. even there he missed 3 dollies.

Needs to improve his finishing and be another stream of goals. Somehow he seems happy with 5-8 goals a season. Also he somehow he seems to be losing his composure while playing the final ball.
Anyway – still love sweet sweet iniesta (pepe reina’s words).
Hopefully an easy game against granada tomorrow and hope messi scores 5 to break cesar’s record. Also alexis and mascherano should get a fifth yellow soon so that they dont miss key upcoming matches this season.
